Very poignant story. I had the feeling I read this before, but I could be mistaken. Lovely little story.
Author\'s Response: Thanks Linda, your review is appreciated. This story was in fact inspired by something I read years ago, so that's probably why it seems familiar. The story was different and had a happier outcome but still a similar theme of the visits in the night that neither wanted to quite acknowledge. It was a great story but unfortunately I can't remember what it was called, and the site where it was (Night Island, I think) has since disappeared.Kate :)
