I'm only just starting to get into manga and anime thanks to a Japanese friend so I had to do a Wiki search for this one! This is actually really well written and, for saying I'm not a fully fledged fan yet, I really enjoyed it. If all authors wrote as fluidly as you I might be inclined to read more!
The only thing I would say against it (and it's only a minor thing) is about putting [Flashback] at the beginning and end of the flashback! It's obvious when you said that she thinks back to it that the italics are what happened the day before. Saying that, I've come from the music fiction section where a whole set of different rules seems exist!! :D (just don't get me started down the route of some of the idiotic ones we seem to have to endure on other sites!)
Other than that, I utterly and totally enjoyed it. I can see myself saving this one and coming back to check in. :) Keep up the good work! I think you've just won yourself a new fan. :)
