My impression of Poppy from the books is a woman who cares for her students, but takes things in stride as long as they don't jeopardize the students, and this bunch surely didn't. Seamus had a dream come true. Poor bloke.

Gabrielle has a simplistic view of personal problems. It works, though. Lavender will be back in the upcoming chapters.
Freja does have a brother who surely wouldn't mind boinking a self-proclaimed Goddess. The "trials" will be mentioned later.
