Beautiful chapter. I'm glad you stayed up so late writing it ;)
The part about her grandmother was really sad, and i think it's something most people can relate to. Talking to her brother was also... how can i put this... real? The whole thing about him being mad about her leaving home and going after her dream is something that happens too often. Too many parents want their children to study, get a job, have a family - do the "right thing" when what we should really do is chase our dreams, do what we really want, what makes us truly in life. I'm sure her brother will probably end up going to a show of hers and seeing how happy she really is, then everything will be alright between them, and he'll be happy for her. Okay, i shut up about this now ;) hahaha I always get carried away!
Gerard taking care of her... and him saying she doesn't need to be so strong all the time is so true. Who wouldn't want Gerard brushing their hair and taking care of them?! hahaha He is too sweet.
I hope Defne makes up with her bandmates soon, which she probably will. It's normal for them to be worried, she's the only girl in the group. And they love her xD
Anyways, great chapter. Really long so we're all happy about that! I'l be waiting for more, as always. In the meantime i'll try and get a chapter of my own up... and praying its as good as yours ;)

The part about her grandmother is actually something I too, can relate to because my grandmother is also sick so I had some real hard moments writing those lines - stopped and called my grandmother at 11 pm to talk to her. But when I was done with that part, I somehow felt better. And couldn't stop writing and this is what came out, so...
I agree with everything you said about the conflict we all experience about what our parents want from us and what we really want to do with our lives. In Defne's case she has suffered from her choices so far, but things are starting to brighten up at last. And yeah, of course, who wouldn't want Gerard to brush their hair? Hahah xD He is the sweetest!
About her brother and the fight with Zack... Well, I don't wanna give away too much but I'll try not to disappoint you guys!
