Well, that particular "oopsie" is something that'd immediately catch this Texan's eye since I currently live in Fort Worth. The airport itself is the DFW Regional Airport.
Following up on toranosuke's comments, bits that also caught my eye, might I suggest a good beta or proofreader? I know from experience that they'll find things that sail right past you.
Still, it looks like it's going to be quite a fun story and I'll be looking forward to seeing where you take it.
