Heheh... this one made me laugh. Honestly, I don't remember which one Izuru is, so either he's one of the characters who gets, like 2 seconds of air time...or I'm completely unobservant... But I did like the parts about him being distracted by the patterns in the carpet, and the line where he thinks he can see Gin's smile in the wood grain of the floor.
And as for Gin... oh yeah, I can totally see him doing something like that. He does love to mess with people, doesn't he? Anyway, nice work--I look forward to reading more from you.
