This story started off so well and you are a good writer. But I am disappointed by how what was once a fresh and different approach to "Gerard," quickly turned into the typical "Gerard is a horrible fuck up."
The halo over Monica's head becomes tiresome at best. She isn't a very likeable character, she isn't very real, in many ways she uses Gerard as much as Liv did. It is difficult to warm up to Kara or show any interest in the storyline involving her and Bob. Kelly and Luke - very well written, age appropriate and interesting. I can't see Mikey as much of a wimp as he is written.
