I'm not sure if I've reviewed this chapter, but I don't mind if I've done it twice --it was perhaps more brilliant it the second read.
I love Issaru and Auron's exchange. Auron's wit is unyielding and concise, which is exactly right for him. He manages to steer the conversation without much effort, and that only speaks (ha) to the respect he naturally draws.
Your battle scenes are enviably done, so visceral and frightening.
And his memory of Lulu seems precisely right (though I'm left wondering where she picked up that earth mythology --adds to the mystery, I suppose) and leaves the readers wanting more.
Now on to chapter four!
