Wow. Great story. From experience, I can assure you that a spider's bite is totally disabling. All I could think of was removing it some way, any way, even to the point of limb loss. I guess I got lucky since I treated it like a snake bite and lanced it and applied suction within a minute. I must have sucked a pint of blood out of my arm before I stopped. Apparently I got enough of the venom out but had a 2" deep sore that took about 2.5 months to heal. Still itches and burns after 40+ years. Don't let anyone tell you different, a spider bite is extremely painful and very dangerous, even life threatening.
The story is great. I have been waiting for another chapter for too long. I hope you continue this so we can see the aftereffects.
