I know I should hate it, but actually I really liked the ending.
She gave up on their relationship when she decided not to trust Bob and to try to go it alone, even though she did it to protect Bob, she should have tried to work it out together, instead of taing the decision away from him.
She stopped believing in them.
Props to you for being a brave enough author to try something like that, it's very refreshing and I loved it.
I don't normally read sequels, but I will definately give this one a chance. Much love.

You're absolutely right and though I haven't wrote one word for the sequel this is definitely something I had imagined.
When he asked her to promise to always tell him everything, the scene in the sequel was always in my mind.
