Hi! This is a good story, and a nice mix-up from canon. Now for specific comments. I am hoping that Harry will be able to run into Neville soon, I am interested in how you see them interact with each other. Is Neville marked? And maybe a bit of a tussle with Ron that may or may not make them friends. It is obvious that Harry and Hermione are already friends or at least study-buddies. Maybe that makes Ron jealous or something. I could see H/Hr happening in this fic, but probably not seriously until later, after they get to know one another. Of course, she has probably been 'obviously' been chasing after Ron for some time now. I'm assuming that Neville is the BWL by default after he saved Ginny from the chamber. Hey, does that mean that Ginny had a huge crush on Neville? Are you going to let it follow HBP from here on in? Dumbledore's hand about to get blown up? And I like this 'aspect of the wolf' thing you got going. He's nearly on par with a werewolf. I want to see what house he is sorted into when he gets to Hogwarts. Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if he went into another house than Gryff, tho he wouldn't want Slytherin, he would probably associate Malfoy with his uncles death. Of course, Harry might also want to keep a close eye on him...
Anyways, I don't expect that for a few more chapters. As far as his parents are concerned, maybe you could do a letter approach, make it a long distance relationship (unless you are planning a Potter for Defense plot). What is the word on Sirius? I had to have missed it if it was mentioned, but if he is dead, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of mourning, which granted could be because everyone is so busy in training Harry, among other things. Is Nymphadora still after Remus? By the way is Harry's change to wolf an animagus spontaneous change, or related to the wolf from the beginning or both? Or neither I suppose?
Anyway there is my ramble, hope you enjoyed it, got ideas, laughed at all the questions, whatever. I really don't expect you to answer in response, but to write your fic quickly to answer any and all questions (or maybe leave some open for a sequal!) Good fic, I like.
