I had read and liked "Marriage Contracts", "Technomage", and "Businessman", so I decided to check this one out.
It was worth the time it took to read it.
I like your "Luna" with her hidden intellect (snicker, everyone seem to forget what it takes to get into Ravenclaw), with her aggressive side and her own agenda. Think that will be a good balance to help keep Harry from going dark.
Someone in their review said that they wish Hermione could have been included in your plot. Actually, it makes sense. She is known for being intelligent and that her support of Harry has helped keep him alive. Perfectly good reason to capture and throw her through the portal after Harry. Someone else that, with Luna, to keep Harry from going dark. (Grin) Harry did say that he wished someone had helped "him" connect with Hermione. Why not Moldishorts?
