God Gerard... I feel so bad for Jack. He's six and he has to deal with a mother who's miles away, a dad who's getting too drunk to take him to school, and well, then there's Frank. Frank Iero. He's basically fixing everything, and is trying to pull the family back together. I'm still skeptical about what Gerard and Frank are going to do because Jack loves Frank was too much, like a second father. I really loved the pancakes scene though, that was damn right cute. But jeez, Jess is such an idiot. She had to ruin a good momemnt where Jack, Frank and Gerard could all be alone together, spending some good quality time.
Oh, and little Jack swearing? Wow dude, I would've gotten my ass beat if I did that when I was that age. Then again, I learned my first swear word when I was like three... my mom scraped the side of the car... self expanitory and off-topic... a lot. Heh sorry.
I really love this story seriously, I had a similar idea to this as well, but it was like Frank had a kid and stuff. Meh, I'm afraid to write it now because yours is going to totally blow it out of the water.
