Oh man, it's alright with the whole Gerard being drunk thing. I never thought of him as a violent drunk though, more of a like "Yeah, I'm just gonna get drunk here for the fun of it and then pass out where I wish, when I wish, so just leave me alone to myself."
That's my take on it anyways, but I notice Gerard is almost always a violent drunk in the stories. From what I saw on LOTMS I'd think otherwise, but then again, it's just fiction right?
