Frank seems to have turned into a bit of an asshole - when did this happen?
I can understand why Frank would be pissed off at Ed - seeing as she knew what would be happening once Frank got home - it's a natural reaction.
But at the same time, it is mostly Frank's fault. He was the one who brought the guy home and fucked him. Wrong place at the wrong time and all that. Frank was completely unjust in making Ed take all the blame. What a dick!
They really need to break up. Their relationship is going nowhere - especially for Ed.
