Review for The Potters and Dumbledore's Secret

The Potters and Dumbledore's Secret

I've been following this story since the start and I want to congratulate you on trying to do something new with the "The Potters Survived Halloween" concept.

The characterisations seem spot-on and we get to see how different Harry's life (and Harry himself) would have been if he had been raised by his family in a loving environment. We also see how one change would radiate out and change other destinies.

It should be interesting to see how different Hogwarts is. I imagine that James and Lily have subtly taught Harry the basics of magic, putting him on the same level as Hermione at the outset. Now, will Harry make the same choices? Will he still end up a Gryffindor and make the same friends? Will he still be the same kind of person at school?

I will be watching to see where this story goes.

Author's response

Thanks for reading and the review! I definitely see Harry as less naive overall, and he knows things about Hogwarts from Nym and stories from the Marauders but he'll still be clueless when it comes to girls.
