I loved this chapter, we've been so intent on Ashley's past about her dad, it was nice to read that Bob is sort of the same boat, except his father voluntarily walked out. Poor Bob.
The flashback put a lot of things in perspective regarding why she's so shy about being around people. Poor thing.
I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes next.
