I love Bob for giving Gerard some perspective, I don't think he'd really looked at it from that point of view before. I think he's very good at lying to himself and does honestly believe what he tells himself, that's why he gets so angry when something contradicts that.
I have a VERY bad feeling about him going off for a walk about the house by himself at night when he's in a bad place mentally, it was when he was angry at Bob that he got 'possessed' last time.
