Is this showing how Slytherin follows traditions beyond all else - and the stupidity of doing so? If so, this is a good example! It's well-written, too, though you may wish to watch out for pov. In something so small, it's hard to tell if it's meant to be omniscient, but if it wasn't, it did slip out of pov.
Anyway, I think this is well-written and an interesting fic!
