I think Luna is out of character. I understand that you're struggling to make Luna say things Alice would and to keep the two separate. I think the story would be more enjoyable if you had Luna act how she did in Harry Potter. Luna herself was considered crazy and she kind of is. Making Luna more of her Harry Potter self would make the story more of your own. Other than that the story was very pleasant to read and you should keep it up.
