I myself am working on planning my retirement (6 years and counting) and I am working on some original writing now, and I intend to see if I can make a go of it.

Now there's an interesting idear.
I will consider doing just that. Hopefully by the time I am ready to publish any of my five novellas, everybody and their cat won't have jumped on the bandwagon.
