It's good. Like, realistic.
I've been through the sudden loss of a parent myself, and although I didn't lose both, at first my mom couldn't look after us (expecially the night it happened) so we literally packed a bag and chose somewhere to stay. We didn't even call, but they knew already and kind of expected us.
You're right in the sense that there is no right way to cope. I was unusually upbeat apparently, but I have no memory of it.
Anywho. It's good. Like, really good :)
