I thought up the ending half way through the story (I think it was while I was typing Elephants?.) and I just thought 'there's no other way for me to end it'. Originally I wasn't going to have the big fight with Gee and Frank and when I wrote that it changed the whole course of the story. When the story began, I thought the big thing that would happen was Frankie would get cancer and die. I guess I got so wrapped up in the story that I didn't want to let go of it, but then this ending popped in my head and I thought 'That really wraps it up' and I knew eventually it had to end, so from there on I was working with the end in mind. I'm glad you like it and I plan on having more of I Brought You My Love up soon.
