I have a small incling as to where this is going, but I'm probably wrong. Are the red pills to prevent something other than Ryan's death, as he's been told? Why would his dad have given them to him in teh 1st place if he was hated so much if it wasn't to hide something from Ryan and keep him under his [dad's] thumb?
Ignore teh stuff above if I'm wrong, but maybe... I'm just sticking my crap imaginings in here. I've had a lot of time to think while pretending to listen in class :/
