This story is becoming more and more intriguing. The girl is a sweet-heart and you are keping up the suspense as to what her fate is going to be and who her love interest is going to be. First, you mention Rumil ad then you bring out thid wonderful stranger with mesmerizing eyes, whom, I am sure, had quite a history of his own.
I loved the description of the Rose Cottage. It sounds like the kind of place I could live in and escape from all the mundane aspects of real life.
