Personality:
Back story: Born and raised in the Caribbean. Where parents were mermaids as well, but after an accidental murder, parents fled to avoid getting killed themselves where they tried to protect their daughter from finding out she was a mermaid as well as getting killed also, like never letting her go into the water and what not. Because of the constant scrutiny, she became a rebellious 'pre-teen' and snuck out one day to go to the water where she tried to drown herself, but instead found out she was a mermaid. Parents then moved her out of anger to the 'populated' area to keep her away from the water. Little do they know she still goes in the water. (I know this sounds brutally lame, so if you have to change things around, please feel free.)
