It was very well written dear. This has been one of the only Rydon fics that I've actually really enjoyed in all my time of reading them. The ending, by your title, I could tell that he was going to die and you are one of the few people who knows how to conclude a tragedy that I've seen. As for the alternate ending, it was well written, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't really work with the plot line in my opinion. This had to end in sorrow, it was really the only well fitting option.
A good story it was.
