If Gerard screws this up again...which he probably will, because I vaguely remember you mentioning that the ending would be kind of sad, so I'm gonna guess that he does screw it up and it involves Frank, and that they break up or something. Once again, sadorable. That word really needs to be added to the dictionary. I love this story, you're a great writer. Please update soon!

I like your idea about what could happen, but sadly that is not the case. I kind of tweaked the ending a little bit (I have it planned) so that it wouldn't be as much of a downer as I had originally planned. Originally, someone (who shall remain nameless) was dead by this point in the story but I just couldn't kill anyone off, so the ending probably won't be as depresing as anticipated.
