What I did not like. The girl should have been more freaked out or either oblivious. Her reactions seemed unrealistic to me. The heros were typical and not original to me. You shouldnt use contemporay terms like neon to discribe color or other modern terms if you can avoid them.
What I did like was the discriptions of the monsters. What else I liked was the fighting! I do poorly at fight scenes so I appreciate a decent one when I read it
