Her dad's emotionally abusive, and an alcoholic. Thats why she has no self confidence. but she doesn't tell anyone, only her closest friends know (ie frankie). Wears a locket all the time because her boyfriend Nick gave it to her before he was killed in an incident that she never talks about.
Other things you seem needed :
is really friendly and her friends can come to her with any of their problems, most of them not knowing about her own. Never cries in front of anyone but Frankie, and thats rare. If she's in pain, she never shows it because she thinks it makes her look weak.
