This is a beautiful poem! I think it really showed your emotions and it wasn't depressing. I'm glad that you will dwell on all of the positive aspects of your mother's life. And I completely agree that someone would want to be remembered for their good qualities. This is a very emotional poem and it really is truly amazing. I absolutely believe that you should give her your poem. It is honestly marvelous!

Aw, thank you very, very much! I'm really relieved that you thought that this wasn't depressing; I was really worried that it came across as all mopey and that's the one thing that I didn't want this to be, so it's really nice to know that you don't think it was depressing.I think I will give to my Nan; I hope she likes it!
