Ok sorry I've got to say this, I've been confused for awhile...so Delilah has cancer? Besides that, it's very good. "Darkish?" No, I wouldn't call it that. I'd call it emmotion. To me, that's the key plot into a story. You did VERY well with that. Don't apologize, I like it.
