I'm really, really happy that you updated this; I was starting to panic that you'd abandoned it! I loved this chapter, it was great!
Mikey waking up an practically begging Pete not to make him go really gave off the idea that he knows just how hated he is and the fact that Pete made him at least try made it clear that he cares about Mikey and just wants what's best for him. I thought the fight was a great idea; not only did it convey how far Pete would go to protect Mikey, but it also showed how nervous and shaky Mikey can get. After years of living in violence and hate, it only makes sense that any kind of threatening behavior would make him at least a little bit frightened/uncomfortable. I'm really liking the whole "will there be Pikey or will Frikey prevail?" thing. I was kinda wondering if you're planning on throwing a little bit of Frerard in there; that would be really interesting to read. Although I am quite Team Frikey, Team Pikey is fast gaining my support with Pete's adorable protectiveness and longing to help.

Wow! Thank you very very much. You've made me smile. It's really nice to see that you are quite interested in the story. Don't worry. I'd rather finish this story off with crappy chapters (which I will try not to!) than just leave it. I know how annoying it can be!
I'm so glad that you saw how nervous Mikey got during the fight. I was really aiming on that point coming through about him be around violence for years and that it makes him feel uncomfortable. So it's great that you see it.
The Frikey or Pikey thing has got me puzzeled actually and you've made it more interesting by suggesting some Frerard. I guess we will see what happens. I'm really slow at getting these kinda parts through the story so it may not be very good. Thank you so much for reading and for leaving a really uplifting review.
