I really, really liked this chapter and the subtle hints of Frerard throughout worked perfectly!
The way Frank is thinking about this whole situation is very logical; he seems to understand it better than Gerard does, who is being too stubborn to simply see that having Pete as Mikey's friend might not be all that bad. I do understand Gerard's actions/thoughts though because he has seen Mikey go through a lot and the last thing any of them need is for Mikey to get hurt by someone like Pete. I liked the way Frank felt guilty for acting the way he was with Gerard, it gave the impression that he was thinking about him in a romantic sense because why else would he feel guilty about it? I can't wait to see how/if the Frerard develops!
Great, great job and I eagerly await more! :D :D :D
Author's response
Thank you!!! In very happy you liked this chapter. I'm even more delighted to hear that the hints of Frerard worked well. I was thinking they might be a little out of place in the story. It's cool to see that you can see both sides to the story. Franks being it would be good to have Pete as Mikey's friend, and Gerard's being that he doesn't want to see Mikey get hurt. I'm really happy you see Franks guilt. And you got a perfect sense of the Frerard here. The Frerard will definitely shake things. So it will be getting more interesting now hopefully! Thank you so much for reading and leaving a really nice review!
