I am so sorry about your cousin. I lost my mum in March, so I can kinda empathize with you; if you ever wanna talk, just let me know. :)
But onto this chapter; it was perfect! It was good to catch up with Frank and Gee, as well as seeing how worried they are about Mikey. I loved how cocky and protective Pete sounded down the phone, it really showed how much he cares and how much he just wants to be able to help Mikey. As for Mikey himself, just the fact that he wants to stay with Pete says a lot in itself. It broke my heart a little when Gerard said about losing his baby brother; after all they've been through together, it must be heart-breaking for him!
