Inside

This was so great! I loved this. I thought this worked well in third person and it was certainly light-hearted. Pete is definitely a bit cocky, but still very likable. It was pretty funny when he said "Nothing beats being inside Mikey." We knew what he meant.  Though his excuse worked, too. Also, Mikey sure knows how to get back at somebody for not doing what he asks. At least Pete learned to do what Mikey asks. If that unicorn movie was "The Last Unicorn" I don't blame Pete at all for not wanting to watch it, though my reason is not because it's stupid. The first time I saw that movie, I thought it was really scary. Now it's not as scary, but I wouldn't want to watch it again. Lastly, I think I detect a Cobra Starship reference. "The kind of laughter that would make Mikey swoon and melt like a Popsicle in the heat of a wet hot American summer." references the title from that (amazing) song "Wet Hot American Summer". You could be talking about the 2001 movie with the same name, but it's still a Cobra Starship reference to me. Anyway, terrific job!!!

Thank you very much! I'm extremely glad you liked this as it's quite different from my normal style. Pete was certainly cocky, so I'm relieved that he still came across as likable. Yes; we all know what Pete meant about being inside Mikey, luckily he could think of a good excuse. Yeah, Mikey's definitely one to feared when it comes to revenge. I have never seen that movie, but I'll be sure to check it out when I get the chance!
And yes, that was a Cobra Starship reference; I'm soooooo glad someone picked up on it!
Thank you very, very much for taking the time to leave such a great, detailed review! :D
