I think that this chapter was done perfectly; it wasn't too much, but it was plenty to give the story an exciting twist and make me want to garrote Pete with his own dick.
I loved that this was in Pete's POV because it really showed how reluctant he was to go through with the plan. But he kinda had to or else he'd lose everything; his friends, his social status, his safety from the bullies. I dread to think of what it will do to Mikey though, especially with all that he's been through already, some of that revolving around Pete himself. I really feel bad for Mikey because he really thought that Pete was the best thing to happen to him in a long time and he really looks up to him; surely this will push Mikey over the edge. The end of this chapter was Pete's saving grace because it conveyed perfectly how guilty he felt, and that he tried to call after Mikey really says a lot.
I just hope Pete, or someone, finds Mikey before he does something stupid.

Thank you!!! That really makes me feel relieved. I wasn't sure if I had gone too far with the story. I'm also delighted that you saw Pete's reluctance to go with the plan. This was a point I really think is important in this part of the story. Mikey really did think Pete wanted him and that they were friends but it has torn him down to shreds with what Pete has done. Im very happy you see how guilty Pete is right now about it all and how much he began to care. Thank you thank you thank you so much for reading and reviewing.
