Very nice blend there of Shakespeare's methods (R&J especially) with the HP world (with her first name, you know Hermione would have a fondness for the Bard). It's a more subtle solution than the "kill all the idiot Purebloods" approach but still removes them fully from power.

As I told Teresa, the 'Muggleborne Marriage Law' is usually a way for authors to force Hermione to marry some Death Eater or other (usually the ferret). This way, she and Harry win, Fudge looks like an ass and the Deeters end up poor.
