Ahhh my tattoo...IS SO FUCKING AWSOME! To me tattoos are art (I love Art). For my first tattoo (notice I said 'first' that's because I plan to get one every year now for my birthday) I got the southern cross stars...because I’m always going to be Australian XD My tattoos are for me so they are never going to be some where you can see them (e,g, arms, neck, ankles.) but on my torso and back under clothing or top of my thigh or something similar to that where you can only see them if I choose to show you. And all my tattoos are going to have some kind of meaning to them...southern cross = Australian. I'm gonna one day get my star sign (Virgo) because I can never change that. and a Black Crow because it's a bird and represents freedom and looks awesome and also because the name of town where I was born and am growing up in can be translated into 'place of many crows' (and yes I do realise that I just gave you a clue to where I am but oh well XD just if ya gonna stalk me don't kill me...plz)
Anyway the tattoo I got now is near my right hip and every time I walk pass my mirror I lift my shirt so I can see it…I did actually stand in front of the mirror for quite some time just looking at it…it’s so cool. My mother doesn’t know about it and I don’t plan on telling her, but I made sure the place where I got it done was safe and I asked questions (I looked around at a couple of tattoo shops and at one other the places this chick was very snappy and snide, she kept giving me these dirty looks and I was like you know what I’m gonna go somewhere else to get my tattoo and then I went to the first tattoo place I went to and the guy that did mine was really nice and had this really mad ass tattoo across his ribs and up his torso. It did cost a bit but less than that other bitch would have charged and I think it was totally worth it.
