Ha, it´s only natural that after I left some dumbass comment about how it could be possible that Pete is able to read her mind, she is able to read his. ;) Well, not really but at least she´s a good guesser.

It wasn't a dumbass comment at all. As Kales said, she can sort of sense when vampires are near and what they are feeling. This may throw a plot loop. Maybe.
