if she wants to she doesn't need our permission. she should just do what she wants otherwise it wkn't be true art/:
sounds like an awesome idea though. but be warned, it's harder than you think. i draw my own manga and it freakin takes ages because on some days you just can't draw. you also need to plan the whole thing out because it's structured differently from a written out story. you have to decide with what you'll fill the panels and there's a lot needing to know how to draw every damn perspective and friggin landscapes in manga style.
but hey, i should probably be here to encourage her xD it's a great practise for your drawing skills and it's fun:) she should try it!
