Seeing that someone cared enough about Colin to write something so good is in an odd way very touching. I've actually read the story many times and that was the first time I realized I could comment on it. If you ever want to know more about Colin I can promise you that I know more than anybody else will ever know about him.
Author's response
His death affected me way more than I would have expected, so I guess sharing what I was feeling was kind of therapeutic for me. I've healed and moved on since then, so I feel like that story no longer has to be up on this site (I still have it saved to my computer though). But I'm glad you were able to appreciate it and find it touching- that wasn't my intent, but I'm glad nonetheless.
Thank you so much... If you feel comfortable telling me, it would be kind of nice to know what he was like, like what kinds of things he enjoyed doing and what made him happy, or what he was interested in, or what he wanted to do when he was older, or things like that. Those are the kinds of things I've always wondered about. Please don't feel like you have to tell me, I'm really just curious.
I appreciate your kindness so much- thank you so much for sending me a message.
