Interesting ideas for a story with potential for a big story. Personal dislike for canon Sakura, particularly after how she was in the most recent chapters, but she's always good for a harem pairing with naruto. Hinata, I liked, a character with potential to be molded in many directions, kinda like Naruto. Enjoyed reading, kept me guessing where things were going and you set up for evil Sasuke without making it overtop or bashing (I have no problem with a bashing sasuke story, unless he is the main antagonist cos that goes down a road that takes away the thrill of the story, even more the on longer it is.).
And do i detect foreshadowing in Karin being involved with Naruto and his friends later.
If this helps with your ideas later, I would suggest an occasional scene or to with a bit more comedic flare, its the reason the Naruto series has lasted so long, little scenes just to keep it light hearted at times.
