Aside from some of the discussion topics, which are predictable, but crass (the talking about underwear for instance), the story itself is very good.
I rather like this discussion, but the building hatred in Amanda's part towards Kennedy doesn't make sense to me, sorry about that- could well be envy, and that the Adversary they'll be facing would know lead to the first murder (of Abel by Cain); he might well try that in the battle that they're trying to prepare for.
