First let me say that Bumblebore IS NOT going to be very happy about this once he learns. It, to put it mildly, throws a supersized spanner into the works. Now then, this first chapter was delightful to read. I enjoyed Harry's unique way of rescuing Hermione. I hadn't expected the bonding to happen so soon though. Usually one must wait a few chapters. One question: has Hermione ever heard the curse " Be careful what you wish for, you may get it." ?
