After thinking about Dumbledore's actions in cannon and the movies I came to the conclusion that he isn't senile, he isn't mad, HE IS GREEDY, SELF-CENTERED AND BELIEVES HE KNOWS ALL SO CAN RUN THE WORLD! He believes himself to be the ultimate chess master which gives him the right to decide who's worthy of living and who should die for his greater good. He's been shaping the minds of British magical citizens for many generations to ensure they follow his every word. And that gives him the right to do so. Now if Harry and Ginny ACCIDENTLY trip him through the vail they'll end that. Unfortunately, the Order of the flaming Turkey will still try to carry on with his grand scheme.
