I was rather surprised to find out this is based on a game. You see I've read almost all of the Monster Hunter Inc. books. I've never played the game nor had I even heard of it till now. Larry Correia does a wonderful job with the books. If you get the chance and the time I recommend the series. The one based in New Orleans is quite funny.
