Harry Potter Questions That Will Make You Think

1. Harry's number in Quidditch is #7. Do you think this has any meaning? If so, what is it?

I think that the number seven has always been seen as a magical number. Hence, the absurd amount of seven going around. Additionally, seven might have been J.K. Rowling's favorite number. Or perhaps it came out that way. We may never know.

2 How do you think the Marauders made the map?

I believe that there must be some sort of chink in the spell that makes Hogwarts unable to be mapped. Being the Marauders, they must have found said chink and taken advantage of it. But we must remember that they never mapped the Room of Requirement, leading the reader to wonder if they never found it, wished to keep it a secret, or could not map it.

3. Do you think that Harry, Ron, and Hermione all have something in common with Harry's mother? (Deeper than hair color?)

I think that each of them has a little bit of Lily, which is remarkable since she only birthed one of them. You see, Harry has her compassion. Hermione, her brains. And Ron, her bravery. This is what makes them better together then by themselves.

4.Which Harry Potter character would you date?

I would date Remus Lupin or Sirius Black as they seem the most interesting overall. However, there isn't a lot of choice considering one of my requirements for a date is that they must provide good conversation, which is why I chose the two I did.

5. If you could have prevented one death in Harry Potter, which one would it be?(Mine would be Dumbledore, or Dobby.)

I would prevent the death of either Remus or Sirius. Besides the fact that I find their characters to be deep and thoughtful, I feel as if they had too little time with Harry. Even with James and Lily gone, Harry wasn't an orphan because of Remus and Sirius. Because they died, he was left truly and orphan, though one could argue that he had Molly and Arthur. As a second (or third as it may be) choice, I would save Fred.

6. Who is your favorite Harry Potter character?

This is hard to answer, as there are so many different personalities that are very interesting. I have to say that mine would be a match between Tom Riddle (due to his upbringing and ending, I find him morbidly interesting), Remus and/or Sirius (look above), and Narcissa Malfoy (her character is seen too little and it's such a good one).
