I dont know what they changed about Persephone but I do know the famous story. One day Persephone was out for a walk and Hades captured her and raped her. Then he made her the queen of the underworld. Demeter went around asking people if they had seen her daughter. Zeus found where she was and ordered Hades to return her to the above because Demeter couldn't live without her daughter. But Hades refused. SO Zeus made and agreement that Persephone would go to the Underworld six months a year and be queen if she could come to the living world for six months to be with her mother. =D see i am very good at greek mythology. But I have a feeling that in COTT they changed the fact that she had brown curly hair not white straight hair or the fact that wherever she walked flowers grew. I dont know.
The poem means that you don't stay young forever so have fun while you can.

i dunt think she was raped...but everyone reads these things from different booksand things and they all say different stuff. But I still dunt think she got raped. It has to do something with the seasons, plus I already announced the winner for that....lol and for the poem answer. That is correct. You are the winner for that, ...i need yur e-mail lol.
