Review for Taking a Mulligan

Taking a Mulligan

This is a great story! While I'm not familiar with with Chrighton and his story, I can see how you have managed to weave them neatly into the Harry Potter saga. Interesingly enough, it would be Hermione and Harry who have the easiest time of understanding alien viewpoints. As Hermione said about the American mages, they don't have the preconceived notions. We muggles have been subject to science fiction for more than a century and the current and previous generations have grown up with it.
OK, Harry is busted snogging Zhann, and daddy is not happy.(Dum dum DUMM!)
I have placed this on my 'alert's list' and hope to read more soon. Alorkin

Author's response

It's always nice to hear that a crossover is accessible to someone who isn't familiar with one of the fandoms. Farscape is a smallish fandom compared to Harry Potter, so while finding Farscape fans who also like HP is relatively easy, finding HP fans who even know the first thing about Farscape is more difficult. If you are a SciFi fan, then I highly recommend the Farscape TV series and miniseries (available on DVD). It was well written with complex story lines, which does mean it's a series best viewed in order. For those with more limited time to devote, the miniseries "Farscape: The Peacekeeper War" does a fair job of standing alone and giving the necessary backstory.
